1. General Policy
At JurisClear AI, customer satisfaction is a priority. However, due to the nature of our service, which relies on computationally expensive Artificial Intelligence (AI) processing to deliver immediate digital content, all sales are generally considered final once an analysis has been successfully completed and the report delivered to you.
2. Merchant of Record
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller and Merchant of Record, Lemon Squeezy. They process the payments, manage refunds, and handle global tax compliance. Refund requests are ultimately subject to Lemon Squeezy's refund procedures and policies.
3. Eligibility for Refunds
We will gladly honor a refund request within 14 days of purchase under the following specific circumstances:
- Billing Errors: E.g., accidental double charges or technical glitches during checkout.
- Service Failure: If the AI analysis completely failed to generate a report due to a server error on our end, and your account was charged or a credit was deducted without providing the service.
4. Non-Refundable Cases
Refunds will NOT be issued in the following scenarios:
- AI Accuracy: AI is based on probabilistic Language Models and may occasionally make mistakes or miss context. Dissatisfaction with the specific output, subjective disagreement with the legal risk score, or AI "hallucinations" are not grounds for a refund.
- Change of Mind: If you purchased a one-time audit or subscription and subsequently decided you no longer need the service after the report was delivered.
- Voluntary Account Deletion: If you voluntarily delete your account while an active subscription period remains, no refund or pro-rated credit will be issued for the unused portion of the subscription term.
5. Subscription Cancellations
You may cancel your recurring Unlimited Pro subscription at any time through your billing dashboard. Cancellation stops future charges, but your premium access will remain active until the end of your current paid billing cycle. No partial refunds are provided for unused days within an active cycle.
6. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund for a billing error or service failure, please contact us via our support widget or email us at support@jurisclear.com with your order number. We will coordinate with Lemon Squeezy to process the request as quickly as possible.
