When you use JurisClear to analyze agreements, you upload text or files ("Documents"). We process these Documents strictly to provide you with the auditing Service.
Data Retention & AI Training:We do NOT use your uploaded Documents or generated reports to train our foundational models or any third-party models (such as OpenAI's large language models). Documents are processed securely, stored temporarily for your convenience in your account dashboard, and you may delete them at any time from your interface.
2. Use of Your Information
Having accurate information about you permits us to provide you with a smooth, efficient, and customized experience. Specifically, we may use information collected about you via the Service to:
- Create and manage your account
- Provide, operate, and maintain our Service
- Process transactions and send related information (handled securely by our Merchant of Record, Lemon Squeezy)
- Send you technical notices, updates, security alerts, and support messages
3. Third-Party Service Providers
We may share your information with third parties that perform services for us or on our behalf, including:
- Payment Processing: We use Lemon Squeezy as our Merchant of Record. They handle all payment processing and related compliance. We do not store your full credit card information on our servers.
- AI Providers: We use OpenAI APIs to provide our core analysis features. Data sent to OpenAI via their API is strictly used for fulfilling the request and is not used to train their global models, adhering to their enterprise privacy terms.
- Authentication & Database: We use Supabase for authentication and secure database storage.
4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We try to keep tracking to an absolute minimum. We use necessary cookies simply to keep you logged in and to remember your preferences (like your theme or your cookie consent choices). We do not use intrusive third-party marketing trackers (like Google Analytics) that track you across the web.

- Right to Erasure / Right to be Forgotten (Art. 17): You can permanently delete your entire account and all associated data through the Settings page. This action is irreversible and will cascade-delete your profile, analysis history, payment records, custom rules, and authentication credentials.
- Right to Data Portability (Art. 20): You can download a complete copy of all your personal data in a machine-readable JSON format from the Settings page at any time.
- The right to withdraw consent at any time.
Data Retention: Analysis results are automatically and permanently deleted after 30 days. Uploaded documents are processed in memory only and are never persistently stored on our servers.
